Meta is rolling out paid subscription plans for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp worldwide, while also testing new AI, creator, and business-focused offerings under its broader “Meta One” subscription brand.
Valve has significantly increased the price of the Steam Deck - but now, it's also in stock. The 512GB Steam Deck OLED now costs $789, up from $549, while the 1TB model costs $949, up from $649. As I write this, both models are available to buy on Steam with an estimated delivery date of three to five business days.
The company says the price increase is because of "rising memory and storage costs." Nothing about the Steam Deck has changed, but "these new prices reflect the current state of component costs and other global logistical challenges across the industry as a whole. We'll keep you updated if anything changes."

Upgrading to more power laser cutting tools expands the types of materials the M2 can engrave. | Image: xTool
xTool has announced a new multi-purpose crafting machine that could potentially be one of the most affordable ways to start an Etsy shop. Its modular design facilitates a CMYK print head that works on multiple materials including paper, wood, and felt. It can later be swapped with laser-based cutting and engraving tools. You can use the M2 to both print and cut stickers, for example, but it's versatile enough to also be used to etch designs onto metal water bottles. The machine's upgradeable functionality justifies its footprint, which is much larger than your typical desktop printer.
The xTool M2 Color Craft Laser, which will be priced at …

Motorola says that recently discovered behavior, which saw some of its phones sending users to an affiliate tracking website before opening the Amazon app, was "unintended" and has been "promptly corrected." The company didn't explain how the error was introduced in the first place.
"Recently, Motorola acted quickly to resolve an issue that was identified, which caused some users in the US launching the Amazon Shopping app to be routed through a web tracking link before opening the app. This behavior was unintended and resulted in an inconsistent user experience," Allison Yi, Motorola's executive director of product management, told The Ver …

As part of its Summer Kickoff Sale, Our Place’s 31.7-quart Wonder Oven is now available from both Amazon and Our Place in select colors starting at $175 ($70 off), an all-time low. The compact 6-in-1 countertop appliance is a little pricey for what it offers; however, it’s incredibly easy to use and showcases a lovely, muted aesthetic that’s likely going to be far more attractive in your kitchen than anything from Cuisinart (sorry, not sorry). Truth be told, I’ve probably used it more than any other wedding gift I received last year.
I’ve been super eager to follow up with John Martson ever since Rockstar announced that Red Dead Redemption was making its way to current-gen titles — including the Nintendo Switch 2. And now, thanks to a discount at Amazon and Walmart, you can pick up a physical copy of the open-world Western for the OG Switch for $24.99 ($5 off), which is the best price we’ve seen. Afterward, you can upgrade to the overhauled Switch 2 version free of charge.
Govee’s massive Lightwall is receiving its first discount at Amazon, where you can pick it up for $399.99 ($50 off) for a limited time. The nifty water-resistant display measures 7.9 feet wide and 5.3 feet tall, with 1,536 color-changing LEDs that are spaced about 2 inches apart in a grid. The LEDs themselves can create one of 200 preset scenes or simple animations, or, if you prefer, you can choose from 10 different music modes in Govee’s Home app, all of which are designed to sync with your music. Hell, you can even sketch your own image or use simple text prompts to create custom GIFs, which you can throw on the self-standing display within seconds.
The first wave of RGB LED TVs are fighting for their spot in the TV hierarchy. They need to outperform OLED TVs in brightness and color (because they'll never match OLED's contrast), and they need to outperform regular LED TVs in everything (because their price is so much higher). It's now time for Sony to take a swing with the Bravia 7 II, which is out alongside the flagship Bravia 9 II. Both pair RGB LED backlighting with Sony's always top-notch processing.
RGB TVs like the Bravia 7 II use red, green, and blue LEDs instead of a field of all-blue or white LEDs for the backlight. This allows for an RGB LED TV to display more, and brighter, …

By the time that the Democratic primary for New York's 12th congressional district wraps up in June, Anthropic and OpenAI will have spent millions on their battle over the political future of AI: who gets to regulate it, or who will be punished for trying to regulate it. But the real winner of their feud may be the guy they're currently fighting over: a once-obscure New York state assemblyman, who they've Streisand-effected into becoming the poster child for AI safety regulation.
Ever since late 2025, Leading the Future, a super PAC funded by OpenAI, Palantir, and a16z executives, has spent millions against Alex Bores, who wrote one of the …

Sony has a tradition of marking down its PlayStation 5 hardware a couple of times a year, and one of those opportunities to save is here through June 10th. Its latest Days of Play sale is happening at multiple retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, and at Sony’s site as well. It loops in almost everything that Sony’s PlayStation division has released — games, headphones, DualSense controllers, PSVR 2 headsets — everything except the consoles themselves.
This post is focusing on DualSense controllers, which have dropped to familiar (but welcome) prices. You can get the standard model for $54.99 (originally $74.99) in several single-tone colors. This price is available through Sony, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, and Target. Some models cost more, including themed controllers based on a game, but are still each $20 off their normal prices.

Where to Buy:
$74.99 $54 at Amazon
$74.99 $54 at Walmart
$74.99 $54.99 at Best Buy
The standard model is fantastic for PC players, not just for those who own a PlayStation 5. Its immersive haptics and resistance triggers feel great to use with games that support the features. Otherwise, it’s a very comfortable gamepad to use on any platform that supports Bluetooth.
As you may already know, Sony also makes the DualSense Edge, a high-end alternative that has replaceable thumbstick modules, customizable back paddles, and a function key that grants you the ability to swap control schemes on-the-fly. The $199 model is now down to $169 in white or black, the same price that Sony offers for refurbished units. You can find this deal at PlayStation’s site, as well as at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, and Target.

Sony’s pro-style controller, the DualSense Edge, might suffer from shorter battery life than the standard DualSense model, but it features great software integration with the PlayStation 5 and plenty of customizable components.

Robinhood is opening its trading platform to AI agents. In an announcement on Wednesday, Robinhood says traders can now create a separate account for an AI agent and add a specific amount of money, allowing the agent to buy and sell stocks across the market.
The company pitches the feature as a way for traders to automate investment decisions, such as having an agent monitor specific industries and make trades, or rebalancing an existing portfolio. But it comes with a big warning from Robinhood:
Agentic trading involves significant risk, including the possible loss of your entire investment. AI-driven strategies may perform poorly under c …
